The affordable RIDGE LOOP FORENSIC LIGHT SOURCE BUNDLE is a helpful addition to any investigator’s toolbox. Consisting of a 395nm forensic light source and a pair of orange goggles packaged in a soft pouch, the Loop Forensic Light Source Bundle provides the ideal tools needed to search for latent prints using fluorescent powders. The compact, battery-powered light source included in the bundle weighs approximately 5.6 ounces and is 4.2 inches long. The area of illumination is wide enough to allow for a natural stance while examining prints. Our anti-fogging, polycarbonate Goggles are lightweight, comfortable to wear, and provide 100% UV eye protection. They were specifically designed to protect the user’s eyes from most ultraviolet radiation, reduce eye fatigue, and eliminate “blue haze” interference, thereby improving the contrast between the fluorescent area and the surrounding background. They meet ANSI specification Z87.1 and OSHA standard 1910.133 for eye protection and may be worn over eyeglasses.
